Regular Council Meeting

Be it resolved that the agenda be accepted, including the modifications made forthwith, as applicable.

Be it resolved that Council approves the minutes of the following meetings as presented: - Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held September 9, 2024; - Minutes of the Special Council meeting held September 16, 2024.

Be it resolved that all items listed under 7. Consent Items be received and approved as presented, except item 7.2

Be it resolved that the cleaning of the ditch on Lebrun Sideroad be considered within 4-5 years and in the meantime that an annual amount be placed in reserve to help to carry out the said project at an opportune time.

Be it resolved that Council approves the Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipality of Casselman regarding the annexation of land as presented. Be it also resolved that Council approves the Service Agreement with the Municipality of Casselman regarding fire services. For (3) Tim Stewart, Daniel Boisvenue, and Marjorie Drolet Against (1) Raymond Lalande Absent (2) Alain Mainville, and Danik Forgues

Be it resolved that Council approve all recommendations listed on the agenda under item #8. Reports from departments and Council Committees, as presented, except for items 8.1 and 8.5.

Be it resolved that Council declares in surplus all parcels of property described as Part of Lot 15, Concession 7, former Caledonia, being Parts 1, 2 and 3 on Plan 46R8274 and authorizes the administration to close and sell the unopened road allowance to both adjacent owners as directed by resolution 92-2024.

Be it resolved that all By-laws listed below, as described on the September 23, 2024 agenda, be read and adopted in first, second and third reading: By-law #110-2024 Fire Protection Services agreement with Casselman By-law #115-2024 To dispose of a property, Part of lot 24, Concession 4, former Cambridge By-law #118-2024 Road allowance closure, Lot 15, Concession 7, former Caledonia By-law #120-2024 Sale of Road allowance, Lot 15, Concession 7, former Caledonia

Be it resolved that the present meeting be adjourned at 5:43pm for a closed session under the following section(s) of the Municipal Act, 2001: Section 239 (2) (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board; (k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

Be it resolved that the present meeting be re-opened at 6:12pm.

Be it resolved that By-law no.124-2024 to confirm the proceedings of Council at its regular meeting of September 23, 2024, be read and adopted in 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd reading.

Be it resolved that the present meeting be adjourned at 6:13 p.m.
