Be it resolved that the agenda be accepted, including the modifications made forthwith, as applicable.

Be it resolved that the following minutes be adopted, as presented: Minutes of the regular Council meeting held on February 23, 2026 Minutes of the Public zoning meeting held on February 24, 2026 Minutes of the Special Council meeting held on February 24, 2026 Minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on March 9, 2026

Be it resolved that all items listed under 7. Consent Items be received and approved as presented.

Be it resolved that Council approves giving a total donation of $2,500.00 to the Riceville Agricultural Society, $900.00 to be taken from the UCPR donation account, $500.00 to be taken from the Ward 1 donation account, $600.00 to be taken from the ward 2 donation account and $500.00 to be taken from the ward 4 donation account.

Be it resolved that the by-laws listed below be read and adopted in first, second and third readings: By-law 28-2026 To appoint a Municipal Weed Inspector - Eric Fontaine By-law 27-2026 To regulate the use of fire hydrants and the taking of municipal water By-law 74-2026 Part lot Control 31-33 Machabee

Be it resolved that the by-laws listed below be read and adopted in first, second and third readings: By-law 29-2026 To authorize the sale of the Fournier Community Centre to the Riceville Agricultural Society By-law 30-2026 To authorize the sale of the St-Albert Community Centre and Jean-Maurice Lavergne Park to l’Organisation du groupe Communautaire de Saint-Albert

Be it resolved that Council approves, as an exception to the Community Engagement Fund Policy #POL-CL-01-2025, a total donation of $1,500.00 to the Russell standard condominium plan no. 65 for the purchase of a Defibrillator, $500,00 to be taken from the UCPR donation account, $500,00 to be taken from the ward 5 donation account and $500.00 to be taken from the ward 6 donation account.

Be it resolved that the present meeting be adjourned at 5:13 p.m. for a closed session under the following section(s) of the Municipal Act, 2001: Section 239(2) A meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is, (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board; ( k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

Be it resolved that the present meeting be re-opened at 5:56 p.m.

Be it resolved that By-law no. 75-2026 to confirm the proceedings of Council at its regular meeting of March 23, 2026, be read and adopted in 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading.
