Regular Council Meeting

Be it resolved that the agenda be accepted, including the modifications made forthwith, as applicable.

Be it resolved that Council approve the following minutes as presented: - Minutes of Regular Council meeting held on September 23, 2024 - Minutes of Special Council meeting, to consider the Engineer's report for the Caledonia Creek Municipal Drain, held on September 30, 2024

Be it resolved that all items listed under 7. Consent Items be received and approved as presented.

Be it resolved that the proposed resolution be amended to add: "Be it also resolved that the Fournier rink be re considered if volunteer residents are available to maintain the ice"

Be it resolved that Council directs staff to close the outdoor rinks in Fournier and Forest park if repairs are needed and to redirect resources towards the Limoges, St-Albert and St-Bernardin rinks. Be it also resolved that the Fournier rink be re considered if volunteer residents are available to maintain the ice.

Be it resolved that the proposed resolution be amended to remove item 8.2. which was addressed separately.

Be it resolved that Council approve all recommendations listed on the agenda under item #8. Reports from departments and Council Committees, as presented, except item #8.2 which was addressed separately.

Be it resolved that Council approves giving a total donation of $550.00 to the Comité des activités familiales de St-Bernardin, $500.00 to be taken from the ward 1 donation account and $50.00 to be taken from the ward 2 donation account.

Be it resolved that Council approves giving a total donation of $600,00 to the Interlude House, $250.00 to be taken from the UCPR donation account, $100.00 to be taken from the ward 3 donation account, $100.00 to be taken from the ward 5 donation account and $150.00 to be taken from the ward 6 donation account.

Be it resolved that Council approves giving a total donation of $550.00 to the C.C.S Food Bank, $250.00 to be taken from the UCPR donation account, $100 to be taken from the ward 3 donation account, $100.00 to be taken from the ward 5 donation account and $100.00 to be taken from the ward 6 donation account.

Be it resolved that all By-laws listed below, as described on the September 23, 2024 agenda, be read and adopted in first, second and third reading: By-law #123-2024 Part lot Control, Lots 25 and 29, County of Russell By-law #125-2024 To appoint representatives to the Court of Revision for the Caledonia Creek Municipal Drain Alain Mainville and Tim Stewart as representatives Francis Brière and Daniel Boisvenue as alternates. By-law #119-2024 Capital cost for the St-Isidore water By-law #128-2024 Part lot Control, Hazel Street

Be it resolved that the present meeting be adjourned at 6:26 p.m. for a closed session under the following section(s) of the Municipal Act, 2001: Section 239(2) A meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is: (d) labour relations or employee negotiations;

Be it resolved that the present meeting be re-opened at: 6:45 p.m.

Be it resolved that By-law no.126-2024 to confirm the proceedings of Council at its regular meeting of October 21, 2024, be read and adopted in 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading.
