Regular Council Meeting

Be it resolved that the agenda be accepted, including the modifications made forthwith, as applicable.

Be it resolved that the following minutes be adopted as presented: Minutes of the regular council meeting held on January 26, 2026 Minutes of the regular council meeting held on February 9, 2026

Be it resolved that all items listed under 7. Consent Items be received and approved as presented.

Be it resolved that Council approve giving a total donation of $2,500.00 to the Limoges Recreation Committee, $500.00 to be taken from the UCPR donation account, $1,000.00 to be taken from the ward 5 donation account and $1,000.00 to be taken from the ward 6 donation account.

Be it resolved that the property taxes for the properties as per Schedule “A” hereto attached be cancelled in accordance with Section 354 of the Municipal Act, 2001.

Whereas, on January 26, 2026, Council adopted Resolution #RES-CM-08-2026, which pre-approves a list of organizations and events eligible for municipal hall rental discounts in 2026 in accordance with the Community Engagement Fund Policy #POL-CL-01-2025; Whereas Council has received a hall rental discount request from the Rehman Muslim Association, and this group is eligible for a hall rental discount in accordance with the said policy; Therefore be it resolved that Resolution #RES-CM-08-2026 be amended to include the Rehman Muslim Association in the list of organizations and events eligible for municipal hall rental discounts in 2026 in accordance with the Community Engagement Fund Policy #POL-CL-01-2025.

Be it resolved that the present meeting be adjourned at 4:40 p.m. for a closed session under the following section(s) of the Municipal Act, 2001: Section 239(2) A meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is, (d) labour relations or employee negotiations; (k) a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

Be it resolved that the present meeting be re-opened at 6:19 p.m.

Be it resolved that By-law no. 22-2026 to confirm the proceedings of Council at its regular meeting of February 23, 2026, be read and adopted in 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading.
